20th Annual TOCO Family Festival – Postponed
It is with heavy hearts that we are announcing the 20th Annual TOCO Family Festival celebration will be postponed. We are researching alternative options and will update you as developments occur. We look forward to seeing you at the next TOCO Family Festival where we can celebrate 20 years of love, music, family, and giving!
What is TOCO Family Festival?
TOCO Family Festival offers children and families an opportunity to learn about Outdoor Experience, Music, STEM, Art, and Spanish through interactive weekend-long, hands-on activities. Stories, songs, games, and friendship inspire a love of learning. Campers also enjoy over 25 diverse musical acts full of family fun! This unique fundraiser helps to support our textile pantry. While at the same time fulfills our mission to empower children and families through green and community partnerships. Come join our community and enjoy a weekend of fun, camping, top-notch music and arts entertainment, and much more.
One TOCO Festival attendee spoke about how the TOCO experience positively impacts her son’s life as he faces significant personal challenges. The climate at TOCO gives him a safe place to explore. His mother believes his time at TOCO Family Festival has helped him overcome some of those challenges he faces. His mom believes the opportunity to Grow Up TOCO has transformed the life of her son and her whole family. She says, “Thank you for creating TOCO and the TOCO Family Festival. It has given my family a tradition. It has also given my sons a place to grow into better people. It has given Nathan an opportunity to overcome some of his disabilities. It has made my family happier.”
Today, in addition to being TOCO nonprofit’s primary fundraiser, TOCO Family Festival has the programmatic effect of helping kids become their best selves. To Grow Up TOCO means learning through example, how to grow through music and the arts. It means learning how to spend time outside. It means learning the importance of service and how to seek out opportunities to serve.
It means, doing your best, having fun, making a friend, and helping someone! The most important value kids (and adults) learn when they Grow up TOCO is that kindness matters. Our children are turning into better versions of themselves because of Tapestry of Community Offerings and TOCO Family Festival.
